Crochet terms

ch - Chain

dc - Double Crochet

dtr - Double Treble 

*__* repeat instructions

Pattern

Foundation chain: Chain in multiples of 2, plus 2 for turning.

Row 1: dc in 2nd ch from the hook, *dtr, dc* repeat until you come to the end of the row.

Row 2: ch1 and turn, dc in the base of the ch1 and in every stitch along the row.

Row 3: ch1 and turn, dc in the base of the ch1, *dtr, dc* repeat until you come to the end of the row.

Repeat row 2 & 3, end with row 2 for a neater finish.
