The Crunch stitch is a fast building stitch which offers a beautiful texture to any project. The crunch stitch consists of just two stitches which are repeated making it perfect for all skill levels.

In my ‘How to crochet: A handy reference guide’ EBook I help you with all of these terms and you can always have them to hand! You will also get exclusive access to free video instructions. Hi marie151, You can find the written instructions for this pattern on my blog using the following link: https://blog.bellacococrochet.com/crunch-stitch-tutorial/ You are using a slip stitch and half treble crochet throughout. Half treble crochet and half double crochet are different terms for the same stitch (one is British, one is American), I think this may be where the confusion has arisen.

      Hope this helps 🙂
