Mindful Mood Blanket Crochet Pattern

The Mindful Mood Blanket is a simple and easy to use pattern which is suitable for all, including beginners with some experience. Pattern consists of a 17-page PDF document which includes options for customising your blanket, a handy mood/colour table and CJAYG photo instructions available in left and right handed versions.

Pattern written in UK terms

You will need:

• 4mm Crochet hook (If using suggested yarn)
• DK weigh yarn (Stylecraft Special DK has been used in sample blanket)
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Tape measure

Due to the nature of the blanket, it's difficult to anticipate how many balls of yarn you will need. You may wish to buy one of each of your chosen colours for your moods and an additional 2-3 for your border colour. You can then top up throughout the year as needed!

Crochet Skills Needed
Chain(s): ch(s): Yarn over, pull through loop on the hook. 
Slip Stitch(s): ss(s): Insert hook, yarn over, pull through stitch and loop on hook.
Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops. 
Standing Double Crochet(s): Sdc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops. 
Treble Crochet(s): tr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
