Bobble Stripe Blanket Pattern

This is a simple and easy to use pattern suitable for all, including beginners with some experience. Pattern consists of a 7 page PDF document which also includes a chart.
Upon purchase, you will have access to both UK and US versions of the pattern.

You will need:
- 4.5mm Crochet hook (If using suggested yarn)
- Stylecraft Special DK yarn
Final size of blanket measures approximately 24 inches by 29 inches.
Crochet Skills Needed (listed below in UK terms)
Space (sp)
Chain (ch): Yarn over, pull through one loop on hook.
Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
Half Treble Crochet(s): htr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through all three loops.
Treble Crochet(s): tr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
Crab Stitch (cs): Reverse dc. Working in the opposite direction. Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
Special Stitches
Half Treble with Bobble row: With selected contrasting colour (this will be the same colour as you have used in the previous row) Ch2 (does not class as a st) and ** work 4 htr. Change to Colour A with your next htr, to do this you should: Yarn over, insert hook into next st, yarn over and pull up a loop, drop the contrasting colour (you will be carrying this through the work) and pull Colour A through all three loops on the hook.
With Colour A, work your bobble stitch. *Yarn over, insert hook, yarn over and pull up loop on the hook; repeat from * 3 more times. You will have 9 loops on your hook. Drop colour A (you will be carrying this through the work) and with contrasting colour, yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook.
Push your bobble to the right side of the work. Repeat from ** to the end of the row replacing the last bobble stitch with a half treble crochet.
Granny Row 1 and 2: You will be working into the spaces BETWEEN the stitches here rather than into the top of the stitch. Ch3 (does NOT class as a stitch). Tr into first sp, *Skip 1 sp and work 2 tr into the next sp), repeat from * to second to last stitch. Tr into remaining stitch. Turn. Ch3, tr in first sp. *2 tr into next space; repeat from * to the second to last sp. Tr in top of ch-3 from previous row. Tie off.
HTR row following Granny 2: Ch 2, skip first TR, HTC in each st of each granny cluster across, HTR in sp between last cluster and last TR, HTR in last TR. Count to verify your HTR stitches match your starting chain.
