Sizing: Pattern offers 2 sizing options
Gauge: Base measures 6.5cm (2.5inch) after round 5.
Small Cosy uses approx 18g of MC and 15g of CC.
Completed Size (excluding base): W 11.5cm x H 11.5cm (4.5inch x 4.5inch)
Tall Cosy uses approx 28g of MC and 20g of CC.
Completed Size (excluding base): W 11.5cm x 15cm (4.5inch x 6inch)
Materials Needed:
- Yarn: COTTAGE COTTON 60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic, #4 aran/worsted weight yarn. 100g (3.5oz), 190m (207yds).
- Hook: 5mm (US H-8)

- Invisible Join: Cut yarn leaving a 15cm tail and thread onto darning needle. Insert under both loops of the first stitch, pull through, then insert back down through centre of the last stitch. Pull snug and weave in the end.
- Double Crochet(s): dc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
- Standing Double Crochet(s): st dc(s): Slightly pull up working loop to the height of a double crochet, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
- Stacked Double Crochet in back loop only: SBLO dc: Follow instructions for sdc working into the back loop only.
- Treble Crochet(s): tr(s): Yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have three loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
- Granny Cluster(s): Three tr worked in one space.
- V-Stitch(s): Vst(s): (Tr, ch 1, tr) in same space.
- Back Post Double Crochet(s): BPdc(s): Insert hook from back of work to the front, then from front to back around the post of the stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
- Stacked Double Crochet(s): sdc(s): Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops. Insert hook into the front leg of the stitch which is furthest away from the hook. Yarn over, pull up a loop, you will have two loops on the hook. Yarn over, pull through remaining two loops.
